Dear Honorable Profesors, Colleagues, and Participants

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 75th Continuing Orthopaedic Education, organized by the Central Java Chapter of the Indonesian Orthopaedic Association (PABOI) in the historic city of Surakarta.

This COE's theme is, "Fighting Against Degeneration in Orthopaedics: From Basic to Sophisticated Innovations," highlights one of the most significant challenges in contemporary orthopaedic practice. As populations continue to age and life expectancy increases, degenerative musculoskeletal disorders have become a major cause of pain, disability, and reduced quality of life. At the same time, remarkable advances in diagnostics, surgical techniques, biologic therapies, regenerative medicine, and rehabilitation continue to transform the management of these conditions.

This event has been designed to provide a scientific forum where orthopaedic surgeons, healthcare professionals, researchers, and trainees can exchange knowledge, discuss emerging evidence, and share clinical experiences. We hope that the scientific sessions will stimulate meaningful discussions, encourage multidisciplinary collaboration, and promote evidence-based practices that ultimately improve patient care.

Through this meeting, we aim not only to disseminate the latest scientific knowledge but also to strengthen professional networks and inspire future collaborations among colleagues from across Indonesia.
